What is the one thing you are looking for when searching for the best beat making programs download? You may be thinking it is the amount of tracks you can utilize. No, that's not it. What about the amount of samples? Nope, that's not it either. I could go on, and if you already know the answer, I applaud you, because the conclusion I had come to when researching this subject was not just the functionality of the programs, but the flexibility of the program in allowing you to create. Otherwise, you are just a drone pulling out rehashed beats that everyone else is and ultimately you are not becoming the artist you had set out to be in the first place. It is my goal in this article to provide you with the edge in defining your favorite beat making program.
Step one. Everyone says they have the best beat making program. So go beyond that and make them prove it. If it is truly the best, they will have no problem with letting you try it out for free. Now, let me say one thing here first. If you are a serious artist, you know you won't get your career off the ground for free. It doesn't happen. You have to spend money to make money. Remember, it's only expensive if it doesn't work. Having said that, there are two ways to look at the free trials. One way is that they will have samples of the types of beats the program can produce. For some, this is good enough. But if you are like me, I like to take a test drive, if I am going to be investing in something to promote my career. In this case, you can look at the product in one of two ways. The first is that it may not have a free trial, but they give you a money back guarantee. That is in my opinion, better than a limited free trial, because you get to test the whole program and return it if it doesn't suit your needs as opposed to getting part of the program from the beginning and after the trial, it is possible to get stuck with the program with a difficult return process. A good return policy is 100 times better than a free trial.
Step two. Based on my previous statements, it is important to look at the amount you will be spending on the product. There are two characteristics of the products I'm looking at. One, being the option for a payment plan, especially if I am unable to shell out a bunch of money at once and two, just what is it all going to cost after it is said and done? Now if the entire program is going to cost less than a few hundred dollars after all the upgrades and add-ons, is it really something I would want to spend my money on? To argue this point, it would be a case of falling back into the drone, sounding like all the other amateurs out there trying to sound like a pro. Look at the program as if this is your instrument of choice. I've never seen an instrument, such as a guitar for example cost very little in the result of sounding good. Like the beat making programs, the guitar comes with strings and amps and so forth for all the upgrades as you progress in your experience. Now if this is your first time producing beats and if you have the money to spend, it would probably be a good idea that you do buy a cheaper program, before you invest in the elite programs, because the artist makes the beats, not the other way around.
The last thing I would look at, would be the learning curve of the program. Again, if you are new to this art, you will need to understand what capabilities of the program you have available. So with that said, I would not invest in the product unless they have all the resources for utilizing the program to the fullest. If they offer the program without any or very little support for the product and the opportunity for you to get through the learning curve and start producing, run away as fast as you can until you find a product that does offer this. And it should be all inclusive. There should be no additional fees for the information on using the product. That is just bad customer service if you ask me.
Now I know this is a lot of basic information, but in my research, it was obvious that my clients searching for this product found themselves caught up in the sales pitch and lost their train of thought for thinking rationally in buying the right beat making program. Some of them have still not received a refund for their purchase and others have kind of given up on their dream.
