If you are a Sagittarius, the middle of June promises the total Moon's eclipse and with it, very strong messages. With Uraus in Aries as of March 11th, these eclipses will affect us all in a very strong way. There are three eclipses this summer. The first one was on June 1st, the second June 15th and the third on July 1st.
On June 1st and again on July 1st, partial solar eclipses bracket the Moon's disappearing act. The effect of these three events may well shape and influence actions here on Earth well into the fall. Aspects involving the moon are referred to in astrology as lunations.
Lunar or 'lunation' charts have been used for many centuries to help predict major trends that effect the whole world. This includes all of the nations and all of the people that reside in them. From the start of a new moon until the next one happens is approximately a month.
Since the impact of the Moon on earthbound events has long been acknowledged, using lunar cycles as a tool for understanding possible futures is very important. Even for conventional science, the effect of the Moon on tides and behavior has been a serious consideration for study and understanding.
This year is particularly unusual for the number of eclipses that will occur. Seven times per year is the most that can happen and the last time was in the late 15 hundreds. The next lunar eclipse packs a punch as it will last approximately a little over an hour and a half. This is the longest that any eclipse lasts.
This lunar eclipse on June 15th will be interesting because it hits in the sun sign Sagittarius. If you have felt stuck or blocked in some way, this event will trigger you to get out of your 'stuck box' off the couch and moving. It may cause you to have thoughts that push you beyond where you normally operate. Sagittarius is a mighty warrior with very high asperations always shooting for the stars. Something may well come to a head on this eclipse.
Weather, too, is going to make the headlines. The abnormal heat and storm activity may actually spike again during the last week in June. This is not just isolated to the Americas as both Europe and the Pacific Rim will have their own geological and meteorological challenges as well.
June 1st brought with it a solar eclipse in the sign of Gemini and on July 1st there will be another solar eclipse in the sign of Caner. Communications were on high alert on the 1st of June and home matters will be in the forefront on July 1st. If you have thought about moving, this may well give you the opportunity.
The July 1st solar eclipse occurs in Cancer. This is going in provide an emphasis on home and security and events that could change our views in this area. Our protective instincts, both personal and on a larger community/county level could be heighted as the result of some incident beyond our immediate control.
The intertwining of the Sun and Moon in their cosmic waltz during the next few weeks will most certainly bring about substantive changes on those of us who watch their paths in the heavens. Though some of the changes may appear drastic, this does not mean that the long term result is negative. We cannot spend our lives amidst obstructions and as the old and outworn is replaced, the universe can and will remind us that we must, indeed, grow and continue our way to tomorrow.
