Following up on my recent blog article concerning all the upcoming astrological events, I am going to focus more closely on the impact of the outer planets, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, on this special blue planet we inhabit. With Summer Solstice a scant two weeks away, astrologers and psychic counselors are looking to see what Old Sol and the planetary brethren have in store for us.

The Lunar Eclipse on June 15 in Sagittarius brings with it an opportunity for transformation, leaving behind things you no longer need, want or perhaps, just letting go of something that no longer serves a purpose for you. This particular Eclipse can cause emotional distress and a degree of sadness. There is a possibility of resistance to change, both on the personal and global levels.
This Summer Solstice begins with the Neptune going backwards, affecting the oceans, oil, and all things that are liquid. The weather could be unusual for the next two months and you may have strange dreams which you cannot decipher. The political arena will also be in the news as stranger than fiction stories abound. We could see odd weather patterns and our seas will be affected, as well. This could well be the summer of fireworks to be remembered.
This summer as Uranus started its backward journey through the sky into retrograde motion on July nine, the events will start to unfold. There will be things happening that none saw coming and it will be out of the blue. Change is in the air for almost everyone and the direction will not be known for some time. This lineup of the planets will continue to cause uneasiness as the summer moves forward.
This combined with Pluto still in retrograde still poses major issues in Capricorn and the world at large. This will last well into September 2011. On the political scene, we may not have heard the best yet as scandals could well begin to make the current ones pale by comparison. Even though change is most unwelcome during these trying times, some will find it more difficult than others when they get broad-sided with unforeseen events speeding toward them. Right around Independence Day, expect more then just the usual fireworks displayed around town.
