Welcome to our Blog(s)

This is the official blog portion of Mystic Dragon Orb. It is not just a blog! It has some very cool stuff that any community website should have. There are basically three blog modules WP Blog, weBLog, and PopnupBLOG. You will find feeds for all three on the left. Why three different blogs? Well, I am somewhat crazy but that's only a small fraction of the reason why.

WP Blog is a word press blog and is very popular with many different kinds of users. I think if you have used it before you will find it will be comfortable. I kept weBLog because it is so basic and simple I think anyone will be able to use it. It is very straight forward: pick a topic and blog it. Then there is my personal favorite PopnupBLOG. It has the ability to name and keep more than one blog per person. It also has user defined permissions so that a user can choose who can and cannot read or edit their blog. There are just so many feature including RSS feeds for each blog. We will add more categories as time goes on. You can also request that the admin add them.

We wanted to complete the website with a blog but this turned out to be much better. So, stick around play some games, blog a bit. Have fun with this whole section. We will be adding more modules in the future.

This pages looks the best at higher resolutions. It does have a few anomalies at low res.

What Else is Here?

There is a calender application which we will put some of the best events and gatherings on the home page as necessary. Any registered user can add an event or gathering to the calender. There is a feed on the left hand side of the site where upcoming events are posted.

MyAlbum is a picture application for people to share their pictures with. There is a picture feed on the right hand column to view recent posts. We have made it able to accommodate much larger pictures than most sites will allow. Please don't post any pictures that may offend someone else. Art is subjective, but if you have any doubts about what you can upload just ask.

The classified section is straight forward. Please use the appropriate categories to place your adds in. Please don't sale bombs or nuclear wast or any other illegal merchandise. There is a time limit imposed on how long a post will be active.

Other than that there are some games to play. There will be more games added as they become available. We will put all we can find on in the next couple weeks.

There's enough modules that this section could essentially be the hub of the entire site. We will eventually add user pages here as we have taken them out of the main site. It just never caught on and when they are on here they will be much better because the user can edit them any way they choose. Let's see how it goes. This site has never had the popularity we have wished for it. We don't advertise, so if you could spread the word, we sure would appreciate it.
