All homes can benefit from a little protection, and short of sealing yourself in and allowing no one in or out, there isn't much you can do to protect your home from unwanted guests. This can even be true of bad vibes-negative and harmful energies within your house can be just as harmful as physical threats. Even if you have never dabbled in magic before, the spell below is a simply performed ritual that will safeguard your home, your family and your belongings.
You will need a few items to get your started: a bunch of fresh basil, two quarts of water a teaspoon of sea salt and a paintbrush. The best time to perform this spell is during a waning moon when the sun or moon is in Cancer. Oddly enough, it is also believed to be more effective if cast on Mondays.
After the 10 minutes is complete, pour the water through a sieve and separate the basil. Then allow the water to cool and use a paintbrush to paint a pentagram on to all the entrances of your home. With each pentagram, recite the words "this magic potion protects my home and all my possessions and keeps them safe at all times and in all situations". This can be recited either to yourself or aloud, although it is believed that actually voicing the words strengthens the spell.
While you are doing this it is important to recite these words: "this magic potion protects my home and all my possessions and keeps them safe at all times and in all situations". Make sure that you believe and feel the words that you are reciting.
Once this is complete, dry the basil leaves and crumble them around your property extend the protection around your home.
All homes can benefit from a protection spell. If you have never dabbled in magic, this is a good spell to perform as it is simple and easy to follow. Make sure to perform this ritual properly and completely, as an incomplete spell will not protect your home.
