Many spells call for certain tools and materials. Most of these are basic ingredients that mist practitioners are familiar with. Whether these tools are for healing, calling of spirits or to simply help you meditate easier, some are very important to have on hand at all times. Some are considered essentials for emergency situations such as protection or for healing spells.

By combing certain herbs into your spells, you will find that the spell is more effective and will last much longer than if you did not use such incredible tools. Most modern spells call for certain items to assist in the application of a spell. Below is just a short list of certain things you should have on hand and what type of magic spell they can assist with.

* Honeysuckle: Money, psychic powers and protection
* Basil: Astral travel, love, banishing, wealth and protection
* Aloe: Love and Spirituality
* Lavender: Love protection, sleep, longevity, purification and happiness
* Mint: Money, healing, travel, banishing and protection
* Parsley: Protection and purification
* Oak: Protection, health, money, healing, fertility and luck
* Cinnamon: Spirituality, success, healing, psychic powers, protection, love and money
* Almond: Prosperity, money and wisdom
* Cloves: Protection, exorcism, love and money
* Ginger: Love, money, success and power
* Fig: Divination and love
* High John The Conqueror Root: Money, love, success and happiness

* Bamboo: Protection, luck, repelling negative energies and wishes
* Lilac: This is primarily used for banishing and protection

Herbs are used in many different forms of magic spells. These can be used to simply set the mood for your meditation, or for the purpose of making a potion or an amulet to help in a spell. Herbs are also used for healing purposes and for empowerment. These herbs are the ones that are most commonly used today and are always good to have on hand.

Remember that many spells will call for such items to be used in potions, amulets and other needs, so it is imperative to read the spell instructions carefully and have these items ready to go!
