Since childhood, I was already familiar what witches are. I can say that the stories of princesses in the story books I witnessed during my childhood years are the ones that made me aware of these. Just like the story of snow white and her evil step mother that turned out to be a witch. Or the story of sleeping beauty and many others.
However, there were actually many misconceptions about some of the people who practice witchcraft. And I'm just amazed how really media can change our ways of thinking about certain thing. But let me give you some idea what are these kind of people and why they are practicing witchcraft.
Wicca, this is pronounced as wi-ka, is a Neopagan religion and is a form modern witchcraft. Adherents of witchcrafts are called Wiccans, Witches or Crafters. They were actually developing in England in the first half of the 20th century and was popularized in the 1950s and early 1960s.
According to my sources, Wicca is actually a duotheistic religion. This means they are worshipping a god and a goddess. Its practitioners are actually involved in the ritual practice of magic that is may be why ordinary people are sometimes scared or even amazed by its adherents.
You might never think that Wicca has many denominations, right? Well, now I'm going to tell you that there are actually many denominations of Wicca or referred to us as traditions. However, even though they are marked to have different traditions, there are various commonalities that exist between these disparate groups. And these include views on theology, magic and the morality, and the afterlife.
So let us go to the question, are these people should not be scared of? Wiccans actually do not believe in hurting people. They are also unbelievers of taking drugs, killing animals, doing sexual perversive acts, summoning demons, and many others that were coined in their existence.
And as oppose to the black magic practitioners, these people are actually practicing white magic. However, once they are already strongly involved in practicing Wicca magic, they should start practicing "protection magic". This is to ward off bad energies or the one that might cause them to do evil things.
But there is one point that I want to raise about the Wicca religion. Do you think this is a little bit weird because these people are actually unbelievers of the devil. So, they are more prone to evils because they are actually unaware to their existence. That is why, for me it is still best to read the known truth, the Bible. Feed yourself with the whole truth.
